I just bought a used 96 Maxima about a month ago, my mom has one she had bought new, and we all loved it. My dad had an old 87 Maxima that I was driving and traded in to get this one.
But anyway, wanted to know if there was any place online for me to buy black head light and tail light covers?

Thanks

my question for you is...

why on earth would you want to *decrease* your visibility? You will see less in front of you, and people behind you will have a harder time seeing you! Seriously, black headlight and taillight covers are EVIL! If someone rear-ends you at night, and the insurance company finds out you *COVERED UP* your brake lights, you will be screwed.

Don't do it!

But if you really want to, try carparts.com, or

I-drive-a-mustang-and-I'm-too-cool.com, or

Big-ugly-ford-pickup-that-runs-in-stealth-mode-and-can't-be-seen-at-night-except-for-the-stupid-18-wheeler-style-marker-lamps-mounted-all-up-&-down-the-side.com

ahhhhhhhhhh,
sarcasm

Justin

BTW, ever notice how many mustangs and ford pickups have these blackout covers on 'em?

no tails

there are not tail light covers available in any shade i believe. headlight covers... carparts.com should have some. try doing a search for maxima and headlights on the web. courtesy nissan might have some. i believe GTO is the company that makes them. i got my clear ones out of a JC Whitney catalog. well actually, my uncle got them and i "borrowed" them from his wife's bad azz '97 SE

name

Yes, I am kinda dark
I really wasn't looking for one with crome but she was a great deal low miles, I couldnt say no.

I was also goin to get black rims. I've been looking.

And I looked at getting a black exhaust also. its like 150 on ptuning.com. I was told by their tech I'd get between 5-10 hp increase.

Or you can do what I did. I bought special translucent black paint specially made for taillights (www.autodynamic.com). Just pull out the taillight housings and smoke them out with the paint. You can adjust how dark you want to go. Mine are fairly dark and you can just faintly see the outline of the reverse, brake, and turn signal lenses. The great thing about this stuff is that it lets nearly all the light thru when you put the brakes on. AlexKC, JustinMC, and BryanH all agree the taillights look badass and most importantly they are safe.
