I got in a wreck

So I got in a wreck in my 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE and the screw from the bumper punctured the condenser. I would like to know if the car Engine is off will the Freon leak out of the condenser. Or does the AC have to be on? I'm not sure if the Freon is still inside the hoses or does the Freon go back to the drier?

It's a closed system. If the condensor got punctured, I'd say all the freon leaked out.

I'll go a step further a fully assure you that your refrigerant is gone.

Not only that but when putting things back together, don't forget that your accumulator will require replacement and your system will require purging and desiccation when you recharge.
