Lowering 97 Maxima GLE

i need ideas for new coilovers to lower my maxima. Not exactly sure what to buy, and I'm brand new here.

I currently have vision cross wheels matte black, size 15s on some firestone tires, not low profile which I would like a recommendation for the best low profile tires as well.

my suspension is still great after 217k miles but I'm looking to finally make it look good aesthetically. - thanks.

I wouldn't suggest coilovers since the axles start having issues when you go past the point a set of lowering springs can take you to. I have Megan Coilovers, and love the ride quality. But it was a waste of my money seeing as I couldn't go as low as I originally wanted, and I got a rougher ride due to the solid top vs the factory tophats with the rubber insulation.

Is there any other options to go with for lowering the 4th gen?

sadly no, I'm from Missouri 😫 - idk I'm getting the windows tinted today on the car, just wish I could find some affordable body work to get done on the car. Everyone around here has quoted me in the thousands for the quarter panel and back door damage... :/

You can easily get a door from a salvage yard. It doesn't look like the b-pillar is bent. Do you just need the dog leg under the c-pillar straightened?

Do you know the exact quotes? Since the rust is on the quarter panel..

I got quoted out by my local body shop place like $4k for everything...

I've used Sprint spring since 98 on my Maxima with no issues. They offer. 2" drop in the front and rear is about 1.75 if I'm not mistaken.

There may be better options now for lowering springs for our car but I'm my opinion these were good for me and offered the lowest drop at the time without compromising lower control arms etc.

Go with a good set of shocks with these. I'm using KYB AGX which are adjustable.

I'll go against the grain here and say coilovers or don't waste your time. Get some Teins, they are quit comfortable and you can get the proper drop.
