Puzzled revolution sensor code stored in tcm.

Hi everyone, I have been puzzled with this problem for over 4 years now. I have the revolution sensor code stored in the tcm but not in the Ecu, The P0720 code. I have tested the sensor i am getting 530 ohms for the sensor. It's good, but the Jy sensor I was gonna replace it with was at 630 ohms that's also good. I have tested the harness for shorts or breakage the harness on the sensor end is good i am getting battery voltage and sensor and ground voltage. I have tested the harness end on the knock sensor harness and the whole harness itself, it passes all good. I have tested the harness on the tcm that is also good the tcm self o/d off check procedure tells me the revolution is shorted. I am coming up with one solution to the problem it's leading me towards the tcm that is probably shot. I want to make sure that's the problem if anyone knows anything let me know thanks.

I went a head and got a tcm after testing the harness and sensors under the hood that was good. I installed the tcm and i did the o/d off test and for the first time i didn't see the rev code or any codes in the tcm. I had to drive the car and break the tcm in and i test the tcm again. I did the o/d off code test and the damn code popped back up again. I am sure it's a short somewhere in the wiring harness end in the center console area. Is there any tool that can pinpoint a short like a detector magnet tool.
