99 Cali Spec P0160 code today
99 Cali Spec P0160 code today
So I get a two for one deal today. A P1705 and a P0160.
The TPS is easy. (P1705)
It's the P0160 that has me baffled on an OEM part number. I can't seem to find anything cross referencing the HO2S2-B2 with the part number as well as with other wordings.
Is my brain that twisted or are OEM not available anymore?
If not, what is the consensus on other manufacturers with a high success of no problems?
Also, do most of you only replace the one when they throw a code or all four when the first one dies as they are all most likely tired?
Thanks Dennis for confirming the Cali has 4 in the 99. Saw that in another thread.
Thanks in advance Fellas! I appreciate you helping me draw from your experience(s)!!!

Rock Auto
The best brands to use are NTK an Denso. If you buy the Denso sensor, you will probably get an NTK sensor in a Denso box. NTK is the OE supplier for the 4th gen Maxima oxygen sensors. Since both boxes contain the same part, get whichever one is the better price.
Sometimes Bosch is also reboxed OEM as well. If it is for the 99 Cali, then Bosch is also OK to use as well. When Bosch is OE, it will say "actual OE sensor" in the description on Rock Auto.
The NTK or Denso oxygen sensor you buy from Rock Auto, Amazon, or your favorite parts store will be the same as OEM because NTK is OEM

On all but one 4th gen, at least one front O2 sensor code is showing up at the time of purchase. It is most likely one of the reasons the car is being sold. I just replace them with a set of new NTK. Since it is a name brand commodity part, I buy them where I can get the best deal. I've used Bosch on Fords and GM products without issue. I had a bad experience with a Bosch plug in not fitting on a Honda Civic so I had to go with a generic Denso and solder the wires. I've only used NTK on Nissan products. I replaced the O2 sensors on the V6 Honda with new NTK at 120,000 miles as preventative maintenance. The Civic needed a new O2 sensor at 35,000 miles.
The nissan part number for bank 2 sensor 2 is 226A0-4L713

Rock auto would be less expensive and right now there is a 5% discount code good through 10/31/2017. Type MMSEPT8 into the box "How did you hear about us?"

Thank you gentlemen for sharing your experience and also to you Dennis, as you are our never failing Guru! We are so lucky to have you here!!!!!!
I used the part number you dug up and that helped me find a new NTK equivalent (24574) for $33.99 shipped! Thank you again! An eBay seller with a 99.8% satisfaction rate (sparkautoparts). I've bought OEM stuff from him before for my Durango. Right on the money!
I look forward to the surgery! LOL I already have a long 22mm Box wrench and I'll use a long pipe for leverage after running the car, spraying it with Moovit and letting it soak in overnight and heating ot again right before wrenching it out. (I'll keep you up to date with the progress!)
If it goes well and I can get the other three at a similar price, I just might do them all together for another 207K! LOL
Thanks again Guys!
