Installing accessories

Hey whats up, Here's the deal, Ive tried the search function about installing two neons in the front dash footwells. I've come up with 2 things.

The cigarette lighter, fuse box, dimmer switch are all places I can install a a switch to run them.

And One person's advice led to a little smoke mishap in another org members car.

Anyone with neon lighting in this area, can you just please drop me a line at Glassfarmhouse@aol.com or reply to this thread with weere your neons are, and how you have them hooked up and for how long. I just want to get an opinion on the safest bet for installing them.

(I also have my phone charger plugged in the cigarette lighter now so please let me know if that would have to be taken out.... Thanks...

_ Mike

I wired my blacklights which are in in my footwells directly to the battert and grounded it to a metal plate behind the kickplate. Also wired them up to a switch in one of the coinholders.

But I only turn them on once in a while so that's ok.
