I would like to loose that "off road" look, I guess I agree. It has to be lowered.....

if you go with 18's without springs your car will look like a tank. It will raise your car up and it will look terrible. trust me. No matter what you do you have to get lowering springs with 17's or 18's. What are you going for? performance or looks? Performance 17's, looks, get 18's. but do get springs!!!!!!!!

Mainly I would like a better handling car. I still have to install a rear bar and strut tower brace. Obviously the car from the factory just sits too high. I don't really want to have a rough ride, so I think I may just go with 17's and springs. What springs should I go with ?

good choice. stick with 17's. h&r gives a good ride. But i just got a set of the maxspeed springs, very comfortable ride and the drop is lower than the h&r's. then you have to get shocks?????huge difference in control and handling though

You did not mention struts but you should check into them. If your looking go for KYB AGX struts. They will not do you wrong.

no, the complete opposite. if you get 18's you have to drop your car. you don't have to, but you should. or else it will stand very high and it will look like ****.

No, he's saying the wheel gap is more noticeable the bigger you go.

17" or 18" are fine, but wheel gap is more noticeable. If you want it to look (and handle) good, you'll need springs & new shocks.

H&R is most comfy, not much drop, B&Gs give you a bit more drop, and both have a decent ride (based on feedback of .org members).
Not sure about Maxspeeds, Eibachs I heard are rather stiff.

So depending on how much drop you want, and your ride quality desired, you've got a boatload of choices.

If you wanna see what your car will look like w/ 18" and stock suspension, click on my profile, but then again, I just changed the whole setup and will have new pics soon w/ 1'6 drop. Day and Night!
