Rust Question

Hi All,

There's always been a lot of talk here about rust issues (e.g. radiator support, rear quarters, etc). Well I have all that myself, but I did adequately replace the radiator support a couple years ago. I do have a fair amount of surface rust around the rear beam and along the bottoms of both sides of the car. Radiator support aside, my question is has this rust ever gotten to the point of being a real safety issue on these cars? Would there be any warning? Mine has a fair amount of rust underneath but runs real well.

The car was always driven in California. I live in Los Angeles. It was hardly ever taken to the beach too lol. If your in an area where its nice and dry and no salt in the road it can be clean
