Hey whast up guys?
My friend is buying a new car and I was wondering what you would recommend? Besides the obvious Maxima. hehe
He wants a 4 door car, and has 20,000 to spend.

Umm...too broad of question

what is his preferences?
sports car?
sedan?
4 doors 2 doors?
AWD, RWD, FWD?
american japanese european?

my ideal daily cruise car are (I can not afford most of them)

the 4 door BMW M-5 or M-3
GS-400
The new acura Cl-S or TL
The 4th gen maxima
I want to say the quattros..but darn it, I can not fit well at all in the audi 4 series....No lie....
have not 'tasted' the altezza (IS300..spelling)...

for 20 k, I guess based on my preference you can get the 4th gen max even 5th ...accord v6...passats/jettas..

as far as fun cars....
humm...the new celicas are fun....rx-7 minus their problems...3000GT-VR4....the 300Z...but the 300Z styling is getting old...but anyway..just a matter of preference...the TT supra...kinda hard with 20K budget..civic SI
NSX...I don't fit well but at least much better than the audi....hehehe

umm...there....
have fun

Do this, go to <a href=http://www.autotrader.com/decision/index.jtmpl?ac_afflt=none&borschtid=51006034701276 716006>AutoTrader</a> and use the decision guide. Input all of his parameters, 4 door, under $20K, etc...... That will give you a pretty good idea.

I'll tell you now, if he is looking for a car w/ a manual tranny and a V6, there are few choises. Maxima, Passat, Contour SVT......

Good luck!!

Not only did he bump an 11 year old thread, and double post, but he seems to be borderline illiterate as well...or at least horrible with a keyboard.
