Ignition key and door key the same?

Should my ignition key also open the door?

If they don't, you could have a locksmith match them up.

A previous owner might have installed a lock which came from another car.

My ignition, passenger door, and trunk still use the original key, but my driver's door and glove box use the key from my '95 parts car.
