Hood Strut Safety

I had to go under the hood of my '98 Max the other day to jump start another car. I nearly got my head smashed when the struts failed. I posted a video of how to replace them on my YouTube channel Ozzstar. I hope it helps someone out and stay safe!!

eBay has the shocks cheap, use a clamp wrench to lock shocks in place.

With all due respect to the OP and my condolences on the close call, but this makes me giggle at the relative ridiculousness of the subject matter.

Makes me think someone should make a YouTube video entitled ... "Proper Use Of Your Brake Pedal - A How To", or perhaps, "How To Effectively Pump Gas".

But then again, maybe I'm just old, crotchety and assume too much these days.

Hey! If it gets views on YouTube I don't think anything is too silly

I did the struts on the rear hatch of my Pontiac Vibe a couple years ago; it will be nice to have a step-by-step walk through for swapping these out. I'm super lazy
