With 2.5" piping, a y-pipe, long glasspack-style resonator and 2.5" cat.... the 2.5" Dynomax Super Turbo muffler sounds great. Not overly loud outside car (quiet inside cabin), no rasp, deep tone. Without a y-pipe, an extra resonator probably wouldn't be needed.

With an otherwise completely stock exhaust, just changing the muffler will give a good tone no matter what choice.

I had a glass pack as my first exhaust mod. It sounded nearly identical to my buddies Greddy SP2.

Once I installed a Warpspeed Y, the sound went to crap and I put the stock muffler back. I had a Dynomax super turbo for a bit which was acceptable but became irritating while trying to have a conversation. I ended up using a 5th gen muffler.

I had to learn that along the way. The Warpspeed Y-pipe adds additional tone to the stock system -- but not so much that it irritates the neighborhood late at night. Now both 4th gens have Warpspeed Y-pipes and the Walker Stainless kit system. We can now comfortably drive either car on a 4 hour trip without the drone getting to us.
