i have few questions to ask: 1. does the 95 5spd transmission fit into my 99 maxima? 2. how much are they usually will be and how much does it cost for the labor 3. is it going to be a better idea if i get my car traded in for a 5sp one hope you guys can help me on these questions

yes - the tranny swap wood werk..........its the same engine....... i dont know about labor costs though..... if u run over to the junk yark u can get a nice deal on da tranny

 

How about an 02 tranny into a 97? Does the 02 have the same engine block, just bored out to 3.5L, thus having the same tranny case with an extra gear inside?
Does this make any sense?
If my tranny goes out I wouldn't mind puttin a 6spd in my max.

hanes manual has different instructions for 95-97 trannies and 98-99.. I dont know if they are different, but my guess would be slightly..

 

Does anyone know if it is possible to do a 6spd conversion into a 97 Max using these instructions: http://www.stormpages.com/autoto5spd/ ?And please don't tell me you can do anything if you have enough money.
