98 max se Hanabi HID istalled!!!!!!

O.k. First of all I like to thanks Freddie for his patience in getting these hid properly installed. As some may know now, I'm a retard with installing mods on my car. Anyway they are in and they are awesome. A nice white light with a slight blue tint to it is the result. But I have a couple of questions. 1. I didn't reaim them, should I? 2. Will these lights pass inspections with no high beams? A buddy of mines said that he could rewire my fogs to be high beams. What do u guys think? 3) where did you guys put the starters and ballast. 4) should I chance the head lamp fuse?BTW. Pics avaiable if wanted!!!

You fogs are too LOW to be HIGH beams. You would have to aim them upward alot. Sure you could make them brighter, but they wouldn't be in the right position to get the right angle that high beams get.

1.) It would be more curtious if you aim them lower, if they are really that bright, plus you'll avoid lots of tickets from cops.
2.) I think you would need your high beams for inspection for safety reasons. Being as all cars that come stock with HID's still have high beams.
3.) No comment.
4.) No comment.
Yeah post some pics too. I want to see what the talk is all about on these Hanabis.

looks great - time to look into different marker bulbs, so they match the HID's a 'lil closer though. Yellow-ish = yuck.

Congratulations on the successful install!

Ticking the starter and tha ballast in the fender is safe? I mean it's not fragile is it? I just hope that it doesn't move and touch the engine when I am driving.

aim them down.. also you could put piaa (black) lights behind your grill and use them as your highs.

I did a Frankencar move for now by just using tie straps to hold them in place next to the battery on the left side and down in the open area next to the washer fluid tank. I'm just going to leave it that way until it gets warmer outside.

I have the H3 Hannabi's installed as well as the H4. For the H3's I screwed them in right under the fender. So far so good..
