Directionals/Flashers work for 7 to 10 seconds and stop
So since it's the Emergency Flashers too, it's not the directional stem.
Where to focus first? Is there a relay that gets tired or a flasher module.... or something completely different?
And successful experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is that I this might be heat related.
I'm thinking heat from electrical resistance.
I'd suspect a relay.
I ve opened the old metal relays from Bosche to clean the contacts. I think ours are plastic.
perhaps you could subtiitute a relay you borrowed from another circuit. See if that makes a diffence.
if so, you found the cause.

Since there is no relay that the directionals runs through, I just replaced the Flasher Module.
Sadly, it seems there are no exact fit units available anymore. So the one I ordered (Novita EP34) needed a creative retrofit to secure to where the original was.
Ticks like an old watch once more.
