definately go with the clear corners first. I still don't have any. have all performance mods. no lighting yet , but they look good. reverse later. and if you get the reverse guages, you have to get the glowing needles at www.importintelligence.com That combo looks incredible.

i would definitely go for some clear corners...the diamond cuts look real nice, and hopefully you'll find some in stock somewhere, but they would look real nice

Here's one more vote for the clear corners. The diamond cuts are frequently on ebay and end up around 45 bucks per auction. They go nice with some PIAA superwhite 1157 bulbs. The reverse gauges with importintelligence needles do look sweet, my friend has the set on his altima. Best of luck.

when you get your needles, don't paint the back of them white. They will glow purplish if you do. I have reverse ind. and purplish looking needles. I do like the purple look though its different.

I'm installing my needles this weekend should I paint anything on the backs or leave them clear?

BTW: Jeremy, get the clear corners first man!

Definitely get the diamond clears first. I order my diamonds from greg about 2 weeks ago and he emailed me back today saying that he should get them in by this thursday and mailing it to me this friday.

how do you steal corners? they are not the fastest thing to take out (not that long either but surley not fast enough to steal. and besides that is what insurance is for! and why i got theft coverage. i hate having to worry "oh no i can't turn my system up in public cause people might steal it" **** them let them and if i find them i will beat their *** down... and insurance will cover me. no biggie more a hassle then anything

Well its like this, I got a 97se I got my needles from import intelligence. There dirrections said to scrape orange paint off the back and paint white, whick I did. My needles now look purplish. I posted a question asking why they were purplish, A few people told me to leave the needles clear and it would be a true blue color. I don't know if it will work like that, but I do know if you paint the backs white they will be a purplish glow. Hope this helps ya

BTW: Jeremy, get the clear corners first man!

if you read my question it is slighty different... the previous post never says anything bout black which is why i posed the question i am wondering if the black would still give me a blue color while allowing me to have colored needles in the daytime.... so please not to start a flame war but read MY post before you post!

thank you.

My bad, I missed the black part. I had just told someone else on this same post about painting the backs of the needles. I am sorry.

If you paint the back black I don't think you will get blue. I never heard of anyone doing it, but I do know if you put the blue kit on a car with red needles it shines red, despite the color of the kit.
