Was changing the rear strut on my 95 Maxima and stripped the threads on the bolt that is in the lower part of the strut. I went to the local Nissan Dealer and was told the bolt is on back order with no definitive date to arrive. So….now I can’t drive the car amd am hoping someone on this forum has a bolt I can purchase from them or can tell me where i cam get one. I think the part number is 56226M

 

I would think that any decent hardware store would be able to get you a bolt that is close enough so that you can drive it until the Nissan part is in stock.

 

I’ve made 7 trips and spent $25 at Ace Hardware and can’t find the correct bolt.
