COld Air Intake I Installed over the weekend

Finished installing a CAI on my 1999 Nissan Maxima GXE. Just hit 100K miles. Next week I’m changing the plugs and wires and installing a custom exhaust. Love my MADDMAX.

was sent wrong MAF adapter twice. Ended up ordering a new MAF so making due until it gets here.

I didn’t have to move it but I wanted to. I like where it is because there’s a lot of room now next to it for a future project. Should I not have?? Lol. I’m learning as I go here. What would you have done different? That was a genuine question. Im not being an a-hole. I can handle constructive criticism especially if I did something wrong. I’d rather learn the right way. Thanks man.

I was curious if that CAI was different than the old Place Racing intake. Ages ago I had a PR ( probably a knock off) and the battery does not need to be moved. (I used mine with the stock mid pipe resonator). Where did you get it?

I purchased it from topgearautosport.com out of Cali. Great price for the whole setup. I see you still have the accordion boot and part of the air box. I wanted all of that changed. It makes a great sound.
