New stereo almost installed... how to hook up radio?

I have successfully removed my non-Bose stereo and installed a $40 junkyard Pioneer HU, except for the radio. The plug on the head unit is some kind of coaxial wire whereas the plug from my '97 Max has two prongs.

What do I do? Do I cut the wires and splice together like I did with the other wires?

"There's an adapter for that."
Thanks!
Okay, seeing as the stock HU wire is a very standard and cheap part I guess I will try cutting and splicing.
