I want to get a body kit more than any other mod. I have seen a few i30's with Max Kits custom fit. Any info would help. I cant afford one from takakiera.com.

 

you're going to have to purchase two front lips and mold them together to get it to fit. i'm pretty sure the side skirts from stillen are the same for I30s and Maximas...i'm not sure about the rear though...

 

Two front lips and a custom rear would be a lot, is there any front lips that can be adapted to fit, in other words i am not buying two lips

 

Wait it out for now. There have been some people that are going to make you guys kits soon for the I30. Once that happens you wont have to worry about molding every thing together etc. Give it some time and it will happen.

Send a message to I30Cefiro...he has a 1996 I30 with a Stillen Maxima kit on it. I think he installed it himself. I think the only fitment issues he had were carefully fixed with a heat gun.

Here are a couple of links of Japanese companies that make body kits for the 1996 A32S Cefiro/I30....but their really expensive...

There is the guy in hawaii that has two lips molded on his I30, I don't remember his name. I know of a guy in S.A. Texas that had an Accord kit molded to his I30. I started on making a kit for the 96-99 I30's but due to lack of interest I quit. I plan on doing the 2 piece molded as well something like the Hammann splitter on the M3's

yup...I30Cefiro has a beautiful car...he molded two stillen front lips together...i'm not sure what he did on the rear though. I don't think the rear of the I30 is the same as the Max either...

Nope, sorry, I did not install the kit myself. An experienced body shop did it for me. I did have to buy two front lips along with the rest of the Stillen kit which was pretty expensive since shipping to Hawaii isn't cheap at all. Since the I30 front end is slightly larger than the Max's and different shape, a bigger front lip was made from the two and then molded onto the stock I30 bumper. The sideskirts fit fine so there was no problem there. The rear pieces of the Stillen kit had to be cut and molded onto the rear end as well. Because it is a custom job, it was pretty expensive overall and would not really recomend it because I already had to fix the front end once (re-mold and re-paint) because the molded front lip WILL crack if you hit it on anything.

 

If I was you I would save you the takakiera.com kit. It looks VERY good!! Plus its a JDM exclusive more show points
