1999 Fog Light Assemblies?
1999 Fog Light Assemblies?
Hey All,
I've been without Fog Lights since they got broken years ago. Finally looking to replace them as the brackets and screws are all still there. OEM are expensive and only have one side with the other side discontinued....
Who makes the best Aftermarket? And what about Modding for higher lumen output? (3000K)
Thanks!

As much as I like the look of the original lights, they really don't perform well. One of mine is cracked and I have thought about getting something like Hella FF series. I have FF75 driving lights on the roof and FF50 fog lights for reverse lights on my truck and really like them.

Looked on Hella's website, they don't offer any cross referencing to our 99s. Looks more like we are getting more "Timed Out" every day!
Hey Chris! I'd appreciate if you could check at your leisure. No Hurry. I'm getting Nose parts as we speak in my Sterling Mist color. Looking for a PAIR only of the 97 to 99 version (OEM or better) in great shape. And hopefully some recommendations of how to get more output with better/brighter bulbs or maybe even mods if not too difficult! Looking for a 3000K color. The higher K colors, to me, are horrible in the rain. Makes everything look like a black and white film from the past!
Also, please give your opinion on the link in my response to JS!
Thanks as always!
Keith,
FWIW … when you get your light assembly search completed … you might consider applying a film to the light lens (assuming your replacements are a clear lens).
I’ve still got my OE fogs and a number of years ago I applied this stuff in yellow: https://lamin-x.com/yellow-fog-light-tint-film
This yellow film in combo with upgraded bulbs makes for nicer/improved visibility in the dark and in the rain. The film also serves to protect the lens from chips and breakage.
Just a thought.

This is the only thing I found "Out There". LOL https://blinglights.com/1995-1999-ni...-fog-lamp-kit/

There has never been a direct fit aftermarket that was anything special. If there was something good I would have bought them years ago.
Those look like Hella's cheaper light branded Optilux, https://myhellalights.com/product/op...ving-lamp-kit/. I wouldn't recommend.

Hopefully, Chris has a pair he can sell me!
