O2 Sensor Problem
O2 Sensor Problem
I have a 1999 Cali spec Maxima SE that has an original Bosch O2 sensor that is longer than the new part. What do I do? It is bank1 sensor 2. I bought a Bosch 13348 O2 sensor. There is about 7-8 inches difference. The original Bosch part is labeled A24-B71045 8X020.
I took original O2 sensor to both Advance Auto and O'Reilly's and they couldn't cross reference the Bosch part number etched on the sensor. AA says downstream sensors are not interchangeable, but O'REILLY'S says they are just find a connector that fits. This is beyond frustrating.
Return the Bosch!
Buy the appropriate NTK O2 sensor and look for the lowest price DELIVERED on eBay.

NTK is who manufactures them for Nissan. And that saves you from a lot of "other" problems. Think how long the OEM lasted?
