Was removing the snorkel to get to the ECTS, put everything back but saw this hose is not connected to anything. Where does it connect? Did I accidentally unplug it while removing snorkel? I looked and can't find anything it connects to. Engine started up no issues, and no CEL.

 

It doesn't connect to anything! It's an air vent for your transmission and they vent it high so no water gets in driving through high puddles. (errrr flooding conditions)

Very interesting. After changing the rad I was wondering about the air in the system and how the trans would deal with it. Now I have to go look at this hose tomorrow

That's one thing I sort of dislike about this car: it's pretty complicated already.
