Headlight headlamps - plastic is old
My 98 maxima main headlight headlamp plastic are not clear .. so it’s not getting the full light beam when I use them at night . Should I get full replacements ? What do you recommend I get to make the main lights stronger ? Convert to LEDs or just replace them with these parts ? 26010-0L725, 26060-0L725. .. not sure if they make led ones and how hard they are to replace. Thanks in advance.

I've tried several kits I like the cerakoate kit at walmart. It's worked on my maxima as well as some really dingy crown vic lights I've done for friends and family and have seemed to actually help up over the last year or so

I haven't done that yet it made a big difference just get off all the oxidation and polishing them up was good enough for me for that generation of headlight. You could try putting in an LED light but if there not designed right could be disastrous. Only way your really gunna get 21st centruy good lighting is to replace the assembly with like projectors or something. But a good restore made it as good as most halogen lights from the 90's.

You can buy a set of brand-new headlights off eBay for less than $100 dollars. I have a 2010 Maxima and I've polished my headlights and had them polished by the dealership once. Both time the job only lasted about one or two years. Fed up I bought a pair of brand-new headlights for my 2010 and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner. I will not waste my time polishing them again.
