Sunroof delete kit?

Hi guys. So, my 98 sunroof doesn't go up evenly anymore. I managed to get it as close as possible, but I'm getting worried that it'll eventually start to leak. Sunroof drains are already causing the quarter panels to rust as well, and quite honestly I'm tired of it. I was wondering if anybody has managed to make a kit to completely delete the sunroof. I would prefer if it would bolt up to the factory mounting locations, rather than having to drill into my roof but if thats my only option it is what it is. Pic attached for an example, from an e46 delete kit

No such kit exists, you'd have to make your own. I suggest you clear out any clogged sunroof drains.

Im planning on deleting my sun roof, i don’t use it enough to warrant dealing with the moldy carpet and rust, from what it seems the s14 sunroof delete kit from jrb may fit, if not they make custom sizes based on our measurements, im gonna measure my sunroof tomorrow and see if it fits

I would clear out the blocked drain tubes.

Fix it right. Not do a work around.

If your car is just a beater, your solution should work well.

Sometimes the drain tubes that takes the water collected in the "Gutter" system, pulls off the attachment area. So instead of the water exiting via plastic hoses to the bottom of the car to the ground, it comes into the car and leaves the carpet like a puddle. I used hose clamps to make nine never did that again.
