Sunroof

So, I have a chance to buy the whole sunroof, rails, glass, everything...and the switch, for $200, i have to pull it. What do you think? Anything better out there? My rails are jacked, sunroof doenst open all the way, one of the arms is broken that holds glass up.

Depending on what you mean by your rails being jacked you might be able to fix everything you described with a sunroof rebuild kit. The kit is around $50 and includes new cables, guides, and the actual part that the sunroof bolts to. This part includes the arms that lower/raise the sunroof. As long as the track is good and the motor works go for a rebuild.

From the dealership - I had a terrible time trying to get one but I found it. In my experience you basically have to know the part number because no dealer I talked to had ever heard of it. I know the rebuild is on the .org somewhere but a quick Google search led me to http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ead.php?t=1843 Deezo is a member here if you have any questions.

edit for a better link, and the part number is in the last pic
