The Alignment Results Are In.

Got my alignment done today at tire plus in rockville.

here are the specs.

FRONT initial/final

Caster L: 2.6/2.0
R: 3.0/3.0

Camber L: -0.5/-0.5
R: -0.9/-0.9

Toe L: -0.85/0.10
R: -0.50/0.10

REAR

Camber L: -0.7/-0.7
R: -1.1/-1.1

Toe L: -0.25/-0.20
R: -0.20/-0.20
total: -0.45/-0.40

Thrust Angle: -0.0/-0.0

Secondary Angles

SAI L: 5.8/5.8
R: 15.5/15.5

Included Angle L: 5.3/5.3
R: 14.6/14.6

Setback Front: -0.5/-0.5
Rear: -0.5/-0.5

Track width diff: 2.3/2.3

Anyhow these are the specs. I have to take it back tomorrow to get things adjusted since the car pulls to the left, the steering is off center, and steering response is floaty like a mercedes.

I'm not really sure how my left caster angle changed from 2.6 to 2.0 when I thought caster angle was not adjustable.

I did a search to find some nominal settings for a lowered car however all I came up with were factory specs. Anybody have some spec recommendations that I can tell the tech to try to shoot for when he readjusts my alignment?

Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post.

Your camber is just a little off still and thats why your pulling. Tell him to leave the camber on the right at -.9 and try to bring the left camber as close to it as he can get. Toe is fine at .1

If you run a little heavy on negative camber your car will track better. The floaty feel will go away a bit. I run -.8 camber on each side. My car tracks awsome!

All your alignment guy did was adjust your toe slightly.

IMPORTANT - He needs to make that camber even on both sides. There's enough play in the lower bolts on the strut to be able to set that correctly. It's just more work, and looks like he took the easy way out here.

I upgraded my tires(not rims) & now I get floaty steering wheel feel, will alignment fix it? the car doesn't pull to the left or righ but steering became lighter

Unfortunately there are very few alignment shops that will alter the camber on 4th gens. Factory specifies front toe only, and they will probably charge extra to adjust the strut bolts for camber.

I'll ask them nicely and hopefully the guy will do it for me. He seemed to like my car.
