Grinding noise from rear left when turning

Hi, I recently bought my 97 Maxima and have enjoyed it a ton. It has some issues though, the most concerning right now being a grinding noise from rear left when turning. It doesn't happen at speeds over 20mph and I cannot hear a drone on the highway. I can hear it loudly in parking lots and it comes on and off with the rotation of the wheel, similar to badly warped rotors. It doesnt change whether I am braking or not. And it happens every other time I turn right at slow speeds in a parking lot or into my driveway.

Jack the car up and spin the wheel, and try to see if you can spot any problems. Then remove the wheel and try to spin the brake rotor, again inspecting in closely for any irregularities. If you still can't spot the problem, unbolt the caliper, spin it again, and see what happens. You may find that the piston in the caliper is slightly stuck, and is dragging the pads on the rotor. Or, as you mentioned, a badly warped rotor.
