I’m Gonna Throw Some Parts @ My P1320

Been having a sporadic/intermittent P1320.

Car runs/idles/accelerates perfectly but something’s gotta be up, so I’m just gonna replace some parts and pieces.

New coil-packs … Everyone agree that new Hitachi coils are a good choice?

New cam position sensor and new crank position sensors (both) … Everyone agree that new NTK units are good?

Just wanting your opinions before I click “purchase now” at Rock Auto.

just throw the coils at it. hitachi is what you want.

NTK is usually good for sensors but i cant confirm 100% that they are oe. they usually are on other vehicles.

I hope all is well!

Hitachi six pack of Coil Packs sounds like a good time! That's what I used with zero regret.

As far as NTK... I usually start at RA and see what they have, then I go to Amazon and see which of the different manufactures of the same part rate the highest, Then I buy it (them) at the place with the lowest cost delivered. (We Have Prime but if buying several different parts at the same time, RA's usually lower price plus shipping can be less.)

Just pull all the coil packs to make sure the O-Ring from the valve cover kit isn't allowing oil into the spark plug tube, which shorts out enough to confuse the ECU for a P1320 sometimes.

Hopefully, you can do me a favor... I am replacing my Upper Radiator Support (Mine was mangled in a collision), since you're in there, can you please take a picture of yours and post it here so I can see how the wiring harness is supposed to be tucked into it and which plastic and rubber clips and mounts I need! Thanks!

Good luck chasing Nissan GHOSTS! LOL

Will do on the photos Keith …

I’ll likely not tackle this until the weekend of the 15th, so I hope that fits in with your schedule.

Appreciate the input guys.
