RPM Move when turning?

I was just wondering if this happens with anyone elses maxima. When i'm in park and I turn the wheel my RPM needle jumps a little. I'll idle at about 900 rpm, and when i turn my wheel it jumps to about 1200 or 1300 rpms. Could this be bad? thanks.

Happens on all Maximas and on most cars...power steering...needs power.

Yup, I sometimes turn my wheel real fast while in P to see how high I can take my RPM's (if I have nothing better to do that iz).
