How do I tell if I have heated mirrors? I have practically every option you can get except for the cd changer and auto tranny, I have the heated leather seats... anyone know how to tell?

heated mirrors

Turn on your rear defroster. Then feel your mirrors. I have the same on my 95 SE.

If you have heated seats then you have the cold weather package which includes heated mirrors

mirrors are foggy

I have a gle and it has the heated seats, which comes with the cold and comfort package. But here is the thing though--when it is the winter and I turn on the defogger, which supposedly heats these mirrors up, it just makes it very foggy--and I have to keep cleaning them. I wonder if that counts as it being working?
how does it really work? does it melt ice and snow away and leaves everything nice and clean?
That is what I am trying to still figure out. =)

On my 300ZTT the heated mirrors would melt the ice and it would clear the fog, maybe you need to check the fuse on your mirrors. Good Luck !!!!!

RE:Heated Mirrors

You definatly have heated mirrors maybe they do not work, anyways if there is ice on the mirrors it melts it off pretty quickly it starts out just being a little square peace that is melted and then eventually the whole mirror is nice and ice free.

Look at the mirror faces >>

If you have heated mirrors, you'll see a light imprint in one of the lower corners of the universal defrost symbol...a rectangle with three vertical squiggly lines.
