Uh, would you prefer the term knockoff? sheesh i didnt mean to insult you. Theyre just wheels man. If you likem, why whould you care what i think? Obviously i *LOVE* the way they look. Get a grip man.

As for having the brand thing.. it kinda matters to me now, since i want lighter, wider, and special offsets that more generic companies dont offer. (in order to clear my wilwood bigbrakes)

He's right.. Nakayama does clone the wheels that SSR makes, so believe it, and live with it. www.tirerack.com your wheels are identicle to the SSR GT1's but half the price. Smart move on your part.. but I believe they're a little heavier. Also you're not the only max with these wheels *hint* *hint*, I've personally seen 3 of them in the NY/NJ area. 1 maroon 5th gen, and 2 black 4th gens.. but they had the GT1's not the Nakayama's.

How did they look, I mean actually on a Max. What finish was it silver, gunmetal etc?

Re: Rate my new rims

I like them. They look hot. You should put them on your car and post the pics.

Me personally, i don't really like them. BUT i'm into a more ;uxary look. I don't like anything smaller than 18" and definately anything that isn't CHROME!

luxury is 19 in chrome or larger? I guess this gets back to personal opinions and taste right?

Can someone tell me what hyperblack is? They sure don't look black at all! They look like a cross between silver and chrome. Which is a misnomer, because there's hypersilver as well!

Regardless, those Nakayamas look VERY nice.

All Hyperblack is a glossy black finish that they put on the inside of the rim and also on the sides of the spokes. If you look at the rim you can see the silver on the face of the rims but on the sides of the spokes they are black. Did that make sense?
