Maximum Traction (Quaife)

I finally got my Quaife installed and have had the car back for 24 hours. A brief impression here .... Since I put my aluminum flywheel, JWT stage 1 clutch and P.R. engine mounts in, I've been spinning my tires (Bridgestone RE730's in 235) off the line without trying. Seems the power has been going right to the ground. With the Quaife, there is no wheel spin under identical conditions. It feels like the car is gripping the ground. I induced a bit of wheel spin on a corner that had negative camber, and instinctively I backed off the gas. With the Quaife, I think I can keep on the gas because power will go to the outside wheel. Under hard cornering there is a very slight amount of torque steer, but overall it doesn't feel worse than the stock. I'm babying it for a few hundred miles while the bearings wear in, and by then I should get the car corner balanced (figure 2 weeks or so). Then I'll push it harder.

Shadow is making one for Auto's though. Check with him. I think it is coming out a bit after the body kits.
