Remote/Taillight blinking question

Okay you know how you hit the remote button to lock the doors and it blinks the tail lights? Well mine did not look like they did that earlier. My blinkers still work fine but just not that part. Does anyone know if there is a fuse that controls this? I blew my blinker fuse earlier so I dont know if this is connected somehow.

I got the same problem, it used to blink when I hit the remote button to lock the doors. about a month ago it started acting up, sometimes it would blink other times it wouldn't. But for the last couple of days it hasn't blinked at all. Is it a relay maybe? Or a fuse?

Well after I found my problem. It was just the fuse for my hazards. Because when you hit the button I realized it locks the doors and sends a signal to turn on the flashers for that two pulses.

Are your hazards working on your car? Double check. Cause if not then it could be a $2.00 fix.

Huh...I didn't realize there was a separate fuse for the hazards. Mine stopped working last time I put my dash back together. Blinkers still work, but the lights don't flash when I lock my doors. I figured I broke something inside the hazard switch or something, but maybe not

It is a 10A fuse. I think it is the very top one on the first row. You should check to se if the lead in the fuse is broken. If so there is your culprit.

Are you talking about the fuse box under the dash area, or under the hood? So it's just the fuse that's good

I checked my fuses and the hazard one was blown, so I replaced it and now they work (not sure if the button still lights up though..it was daytime).

If your hazard fuse wasn't blown, it might be a problem with the switch (if you've been playing around up there). I also think i read somewhere that someone reseated the plug on the back of the hazard switch to fix a problem they were having (not sure what it was).

anyway, good luck

you might want to sit in the car or stand close to the car and press the lock button on the remote. You should hear two clicks spaced 1 second apart. If you don't hear them, it could be your multi-remote relay-1.

I only hear one click. Where is the multi-remote relay? And how much is it? Thanks.
