what's the wattage on manufacture HU?
i'm ready to upgrade, but i see my manufacturer HU is not strong enough to power my new speakers...but i don't want to blow them out so I need to know what the wattage is so i get something a little stronger and not something too strong or waste my money on something too strong....thanks guys, this should be a quick answer...also, how many equalizers and stuff does it have if any? like the bands?

Think whatever you want. I know what I wrote is true. Now, 200W total does not necessarily mean the Watts Root Mean Squared (RMS) is reflective of that 200W.
For example, I have a JVC ElKameleon deck which claims 40x4W. But the RMS wattage is 15 watts per channel. So that's 60W RMS. To put it into perspective, the stocker cassette deck in GXE's puts out around 2 watts RMS per channel even though it peaks at 15W per channel. Same thing goes for the BOSE deck. It may peak at 200W, but who knows what the RMS wattage is.
