Alignment problem, need help

OK, so I bought a 98 GXE about 6 weeks ago from a used car dealer, test drove it, seemed fine. Front two tires were pretty much shot, dealer replaced them when they did their inspection before I picked it up, seems nice. So I leave and I notice that the car is seriously pulling to the RIGHT, so I take it in for an alignment about a week later at a garage that I trust.

Mechanic reverses the two new front tires right to left and gives it an alignment. I leave, car is pulling to the LEFT, but not nearly as severe...its almost like the steering wheel isnt in line with the wheels, rather than the car is pulling (it only pulls over 75mph). Call the mechanic, he says that I have a defective tire and to replace it, that I dont need two new tires, to just replace the front LEFT tire which is causing the pull.

Go to the tire shop where the dealer got the tire, they replace it for free, car is still heading left. It doesnt really PULL unless you accelerate really quickly. But while driving, its like the neutral point on the sterring wheel is to the right, instead of just dead straight. So If you hold the wheel dead center, the car drifts left. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

i'm not really an expert at alignments, but what were the specs after the alignment was done? meaning what were the numbers left and right? the camber...slight differences side to side can cause problems

all maximas like that

I got a 95 maxima
Used to pull to the left, got aligned, pulled to the right, they are just like that when they get older

There is too many things that can go wrong, I also used to get bad vibration at 75+. I still get it a little bit. But hey, its not a porsche right.

I've been told I have bad tires (replaced). Then told again that the replaced tires were bad by someone else. I've also rotated them twice. Then I was told the wheels were bent.

I give up, it goes straight enough, just deal with it, or buy a brand new car.

How was the car aligned? Did your mechanic only set toe? If so thats why it still pulls. You need a 4 wheel thrust angle alignment. Go to a good aligmnent shop and have the car aligned properly. Tell them to set the camber as close as possible (left / right) to each other. Not just "within specs". Get a print out of the settings and review them yourself. Post them here if you like.
