quick clear corner question!

I was just installin these diamond clears and I noticed the new ones come w amber bulbs and the old ones just clear bulbs- Why is this- are clear bulbs with clear lights illegal or somehting? Does the amber bulb make it look ****ty? What do most people do, stock lights or these new amber ones? Thanks

It's required by law to have signal light blink yellow/orange. That's why the old signal has clear bulbs in them to make the orange lens light up. You can most likey get away with clear/superwhite on the side marker and orange in the signal (front).

You should check out the superwhite or xtreme white in the clear corners. The stock bulbs still have a slight yellowish look to them.

but then itll match the sidemarker and cops will be like..huh its the same.- sirens goin off
blink amber its the correct way.

there's a couple ways to handle it:

1) use the amber bulbs you got with your clear corner kit
2) i heard there is some bulb that looks clear, but still flashes amber, no idea
3) put in some hyperwhites to make it look good, and hope people can see you when you are flashing your turn signal, i'm sure they are visible at night, but during the day, it might be a little rough seeing it...and also, when around cops, you could just not use your turn signal, and that way they wouldn't get you for not having flashing ambers....but then again, they could get you for not using your turn signal..so take your pick

the front part of the lights flash, and the sides dont so just put clear bulbs in the side and amber in the front. so the amber is only visible when you signal. keeps everyone happy

bah! im not gonna get clears for the front, makes the car look cheap imo, also you get that egg yoke effect cause you have to have an amber bulb which looks even worse. I think im gonna rid those front lights althogether.
