Yoko AVS Sport
Have done a search on this specific tire with little results
Getting ready to replace the Pirelli 7000 (225x50x16) on my 99 MAX - 5speed. Loved the tires, handling and ride was firm, as I like it. Car has front/rear Strut tower braces plus Addco rear sway. The only and BIGGEST problem was NOISE after about 20k.
For anybody out there who has the Yoko AVS Sports on their Max in the 225x50x16 size, would appreciate your feedback as to handling and noise. Not interested in how it does in the snow.

I believe www.tirerack.com has a review and customer survey on the AVS. Check it out.

I have Yokohama Avid V4 215/55/16's on my 97SE rims.. Had them so far for about 8k miles. Wear is good, handling is really good, looks are good, never hydroplaned (even in huge storms), pushes a lot of water.. I like em.. ride noise is very minimal too. Tread wear rating on them is a little low tho. *shrug* So far so good.
