Need help with factory foglights ....
Just found out that the driver-side fog glass cover of my 99 Maxima SE is cracked probably from a stone chip. Called the local dealer, they are saying they have to replace the entire fog light, not just the cover ... will cost 89.15 (part) + 32.00 (labor) plus taxes. Boy! that seems like a lot of money for a fog light. My questions are:
1. Is it possible to find the fog-light cheaper elsewhere?
2. Is it difficult to do the install myself?
3. Should I go after-market? How much do after-market fogs cost?
Any help is appreciated.

Concerning the labor...do it yourself, the instructions on
http://www.maximadriver.com
should be helpful.
Or you can go the aftermarket route. Anything from PIAA or Hella is good. But keep in mind, you'll be paying twice as much for PIAA lamps...you have to pay extra for all of their marketing people.
