installing KYB AGX's and H&R springs next weekend
installing KYB AGX's and H&R springs next weekend
Alright. Here is a question I have. I have NEVER done shocks/struts or spring work before by myself. I will have one or two helpers with me. Plus I'll have the aid of an air compressor and impact wrench to help me with the install of my KYB AGX's and H&R springs. I wanted to know if I'll be able to get this job done in 5 or 6 hours? And during the course of this install/switchover, what, in your opinion, will I encounter to be the most difficult part of the job? Thanks.
If you know what you're doing you can do front and rear in about 2 hours... Make sure you use a spring compressor and loosen the strut nuts on top before lifting the car... Go to www.maximadriver.com -> HOW2 for some extra help.
Excited!!!

So next weekend (weather permitting) I'll get to put it all on. I'll take pics during the install and I'll do before/after pics. Can't wait til next weekend!!!!

Looks like I have to wait to install the new shocks and struts due to sucky weather that just came in. Canada has given us highs in the 20's. This sucks. One day it was 50...the next 20. The forecast says it's gonna be here through the weekend. Install is postponed.

I'm going to try and post pics of before and after install. I'm also going to take pics of the actual install for future reference. But nevertheless, I am going to take pics of it all, including STS and Y-pipe install which will follow the shocks/struts/springs install by a week or two. Can't wait.

Doing my install today. I will take pics and do a write up. I have not seen a comprehensive write up, not saying there is not one.
Catch you all later
