Describe the fluid. Is it dark? Clear? Viscous? Odor?

Like Ravq asked, oily or not?

I'd wipe the area clean and see if it reappears... double check the fluid levels around the car.

Check the PCV valve on the driver's end of the rear valve cover. It's just in front of and below the TB. I don't know where else to look. If it's engine oil... your dipstick should show up low.

There's no splattering anywhere else nearby?

I was going to say the same thing, it sounds like crank case blow by. Look around for a lose or disconnected hose or PCV valve.
