Reached 60,000 Miles!!! Should I get the service?
I just reached the 60,000 mileage. I was wondering if any of you guyz went to the dealer to get the check up or you just took care of it by your self? What are your ideas before I take in my 98 se maxima to my dealer for a 350 dollars check up??? One more thing.....I need to change the spark plugs right???? These Denso Iridium Spark Plug adds and extra 5 HP to my engine? Shall I get those or just regular ones?

The 60k service involves the following:
Oil and filter change
Replace air filter
Replace fuel filter
Drain and refill automatic transmission
Drain and refill engine coolant
Replace spark plugs
Check suspension, belts, brakes
If you have a decent set of tools and the Chiltons or Haynes manual, the 60k service should be a breeze. And skip the fancy spark plugs (no such thing as a 5hp increase), stick with the stock NGK platinums.

I have a question.
I see you have Cattman Y-pipe!
Could you please tell me, if it worth getting one and did you REALLY feel the difference after putting one???![Confused](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
How much do they run usually???
I really apreciate the answer!
Thanx

I AGREE about the plugs - go with the NGK platinums - they're the best.
