When ordering Ground Controls...

Well guys I think I might order some ground controls soon. Now I saw on the site that each kit is custom made basicly and when you call up you go over with them on the phone about what your looking for. Now has anyone that ordered on there gotten something different? What I mean is most people who have them say the ride is a little tough etc. But I was curious if since they do them more custom if you could get it with a slightly softer ride or something. Not so much that it makes them weak but just enough so that every bump is not gonna be felt like I just fell off of a cliff I will be matching them up with AGX's too if that helps.

Thanks Guys,

SuDZ

You can call them and try to talk to them about different spring rates...they do have different spring rates avaliable...in 50lbs/inch increments

See I dont really know all that much on spring rates. What kind of things should I tell them if I am looking for a slightly more gentle ride?

same boat my friend. i plan, not rilly soon, but same exact setup, plus custom spring rates. a fellow cronie, you might know him as phil96SE is using 350 lb/inch all around on his setup. I took a spin in it(gotta love super charger ) and its quite comfy if you match it up nice with a good agx setup. I will probably be doing somewhere around 350-400 in the front and 300-350 in the back, but will be leaning more towards the lower number cuz i wont be slammed too often. and dont want a destructive ride. just my thoughts, im doin same setup so let me know if you want any opinions on anything

So the ride with the 350 lb/inch setup isnt too bad? Any idea what they are normally from GC?

correct me if im wrong, but i think its from 450-475 lb/inch in the fronts, but that is for group deals i think, cuz when u get it directly, you hvae to pick, so that means the group deals that are for 350$ isnt much savings cuz id have to reorder custom springs which are 50 bucks im pritty sure, so im just gonna get it straight form them and play it safe

Thats pretty much what I was thinking also. See I dont want the back breaking ride everytime I just wanna ride around or what not but do want the drop and more agressive suspension. Plus with the KYB AGX's they are totally able to be changed to softer settings anyways.
