A couple Racing questions

As some of you may know, i purchased a 99 Maxima ES, Auto. I get it tomorrow, And i have 3 people already talking smack how they are gonna beat me in a race. I got all three to put down 50 dollars bets, as i am sure i will win in all three. I know u guys are probaly sick of these questions lol, but do i have much to worry bout.

1) 93 Acura Vigor manual
2) 2000 VW Jetta ( wolfsberg edition) 5 speed manual V6
3) 92 Chevy Lumina Z34

all our stock cept for the Lumina which has a k@n. If i win thats 150 dollars, which helps me get my mods started lol. Thanks for any input

the wolfsburg edition jetta is a 1.8t. assuming its not chipped, you should take it. I'm not sure about the Vigor, I think it has a 5 cylinder, not sure how many horsepower. But I wouldn't assume you'll beat it.. As for the Lumina, no comment.

1)maybe, they can be quick if driven right
2)V6? i too thought it was a 1.8T. either way you should win, or atleast very close
3)ummm, even in reverse

My friend has a Vigor its a straight five. You should walk on him. I'm not sure about the Jetta but the the Lumina probably get beat too.

I think your biggest worry would be the VW. Those things can be made fast by some very simple mods. But the only way to know is to race him and afterwards let us know...

Dont worry about the VW. Ive taken one with my 95 Max. It only has Intake, Exhaust and Straight pipe. My Max is automagic too Good luck and dont mess up.

max vs. z34

My best friend has a '92 Lumina Z34. He also had some performance exhaust on it, but I doubt he added any more than 2-3 hp, he got it put on at a local coop. I raced him 3 times, i did have a few mods, such as clear corners and tint, but I doubt those made me go faster. I didn't have much a problem with him at all. Eazy kill.

It's not 140, its either 150 or 170 hp, the newer ones have more

By the same logic, you will be able to beat a Porsche or a Ferrari because they're not Maximas ... or even Nissans.

Heck Ferrari is no competition. I mean come on they only have two doors. On my way to work today I took out a Lambo as well.

They're only two doors because the other two have been blown off by a Maxima.

First One Down......NEXT

1) 93 Acura Vigor manual

Just destroyed her. I picked up my car this morning at 9, called my friend up, and said "lets get it on." You see, he has been talking smack for awhile now ;that he could destroy me. Well I totally destroyed him. Not even close. thats 50 dollars right there.

Question?

If i got a y pipe, would there be any doubt against the VW
