Skyline-Type Rears

I've seen a few sigs in here where people have covered their altezza rears to look like Skyline-esque tailights.

Now - I TOTALLY respect Sexima for painting his, and I think him for his FAQ. I just dont have the gall to do that quite yet. At least not with my current painting skills.

Here's the Q. What do others put on their lenses that they paint. I'm pretty sure it's vinyl, right? Where do you get it? HAs anyone thrown together a how-to? Can teh vinyl be removed with acetone or an anti-epoxy?

How about some pics? I have a dark blue 99 and the altezzas turned out to be a bit to ricey than I'd like. They look decent, but I think they'd look better painted.

I think the only person to put vinyl on the taillights was the original person to do the skyline taillights: JoesMax

He got a local shop to do it. Send him a PM.

no help for the newbies!!!!!!!!!!!!

J/K

Something like JoesMAX: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....=altezza+vinyl

PM him and ask him how he did it, or use the search function, put in JoesMAX in the username, and altezza in the search parameter. I figure someone would have asked him on a thread, and he would've said where/how he did them. Just a guess.

Search is your friend!
