stock exhaust size?

No. Aftermarket exhaust systems that you buy are 2.5" - Stock is 2.25"

guy said that the b pipe only wouldnt do anything if i kept stock muffler. is that true? Its not mandrel bent. I figure he just wanted a few more bucks.

The stock pipe is 60mm, remember, the car was built in Japan. Every time there is a bend there is a big flat spot in the stock pipe. So get one that is properly bent. Otherwise it will be the same as stock.

Try to get a mandrel bent one, if you cant just make sure the bends that are in the pipe are not sever bends that will hinder flow. You dont need to keep the stock muffler. When I did my setup NOTHING about the exhaust was stock when I got done. New Y, New cat, Everything from the cat back was new also.
