Need help with intelliglo needle install.

I just recieved my needle kit and the directions were a little lacking. Any additional hints or directions would be greatly appreaciated! Specifically how do the little disks attach to the needles? What is the "notch" they talk about in the directions? Do I need to sand the bottom of the needles to assure proper fit(clearance)? BTW my car is a 97 GLE and I already have the reverse indiglo gauges installed. Thanks

Regarding that notch. When you take off your needles and look at the clear plastic directly under the needles, you will see this "lip" that extends upward into the needle. All you have to do is sand down that SOB on the gauges. It is very easy.

Tip: Take your time, that is critical. Rushing will result in poor results and broken gauges, let alone a broken wallet.

Do you have indiglos as well? I already have some issues with the needles sticking so I wouldn't be surprised if I had to.

Anyone else? I'm thinking about trying the install today and I'd hate to screw anything up. Thanks in advance.
