You gotta have go. If you only have show and nothing too back it u will look good until some ricer tears you a new one.

The standard Go's I am going to get or have:
Intake
Y-pipe
Exhaust

I think that's all you need if you are going light on the performence side.
I am just gonna go for Show because i don't really like to **** up my engine (call me a dumbass for not taking care of it... i ain't magering in engineering so..)
so why not enjoy myself and have music banging, setting alarms on fire, play games and watch movies in the car when going for a long trip or something?

You kinda didn't get my point.

It's something along the lines of what MaxPayne said. You may look fast, but one day, you will get into a p|ssing match and lose to a ricer and he'll laugh all the way home.

There are many people on this board who have SCs and have never gotten a ticket. Just because you put in go-fast mods doesn't mean that you go fast everywhere.

I must say it's fast enough for me! If I'd want something faster and I still do, it would be BMW M3 or Audi S4, which is my next one of the two, next year hopefully!

As for the show, It definately gets way more looks then I anticipated! WITHOUT ANY STICKERS!

yeap! I SAID IT!!! IM GOING ALL SHOW!!! NO MORE GO!!! ALL SHOW!!!
haha
anyways... yea...
what would you pick?
I go to quite a few shows and, as you probably know, you can't really be competetive in shows without "Go" mods. Opening your hood and being judged on mod installs is part of the "show".....so if you want to compete...you need the "go"....

....I'm going both....but I'm not so concerned with show. There are so many other models out there that will always be favored over Maximas and I30.

Just my opinion...

im sure im one of the rare few, but im fine with my bose system, im more in tune with the sounds of my engine then the music. and its not that i dont like music, im in a couple bands and have cut a couple cd's, i love music, but when im drivin i like the music shadowing the exhaust tone, just in case there are any Tool fans out there, blast any Tool album when ur drivin, it accompanies exhaust tones very nicely

Both ,,,Since the Maxima allready hauls a$$ and looks great: with a couple of mods you can make the other guy shut up about his 4 banger and take his girl also...Best of both worlds.

i would say show. Maxima already has enough ***** for me. Add an intake and some other minor stuff and thats it. as for using the car to pick up women. works for me. i only think girls are good for one thing so i don't care if they like me for my car. most people think a good lucking car is better then a fast one.

Both. I couldnt' stand to drive an ugly car that was incredibly fast, nor could I stand to drive a beautiful car that was really slow. I think I've got a nice mix of both. I can cruise down the street with the system hitting hard. And when I need to, floor it, and spin the wheels most of the way through 2nd as the boost hits.

At the last show I went to, the thing that attracted people the most was the SC, 300ZX brakes, and the NOS setup. So go is very important in the show scene also.

Can't wait until I hook the NOS back up, get the other TV put in, and get the fender flares grafted on.

I gotta have heads turning when I hit the block! So show is cool. I am not knocking the racers, but I am all show. I just ordered some dubs and four new TV screens just in time for summer. Charles

As for girls, I have one. Also, if you have a girl that was first attracted to your car...what kind of looser is she?
Bingo! Buy that man a beer.

Don't know, I've never run the car. I'm waiting on my LSD to be built before I take it because right now, I get no traction. But I'm sure the show stuff slows me down a lot. The stereo weighs close to 150 lbs for everything in there. I don't think the show stuff really affects to go too much, other than big wheels and a stereo, the other stuff like body kits/wings, paint doesn't really add weight or slow anything down.

i say go for show and go, i have a very light extremely rockin system, no need for tv's, i have all the basic n/a bolt on's minus a few useless ones. All i need now is the rest of my body kit(painted), already have the 18's(stored for winter), and i need a big brake kit and some hids, but even without all that i can still get Girls, Girls, Girls
