We plan to bring to the December Dallas meet a gen 4 version like our gen 3 pipe in which the 2 down pipes are of unequal length as well as a version where the downpipes are the same or real close to the same length.I guess it would look kind of like the stillen version but I have not actually seen one of theirs. We know the equal length version will be more expensive and heavier because there is more material and labor required to fab the pipe but I would not think the difference would be significant. I have read the "stillen" version is nickel plated aluminized steel, the "other" Y pipe is stainless and the tubes seem to be of unequal length but I have not actually seen one of theirs either.

We want to dyno both of our versions to see if there really is a benefit to the tube length. We have several opinions which concur the difference will be miniscule, but there is nothing like trying both.

We will have our gen 4 prototypes late Monday as well as a B or mid pipe, cat and a complete cat back set-up. We plan to bring the whole set-up to Dallas so we can try on another car. We generally don't sell our prototypes but use them as "go no go piece" for our jigs. This ensures that the jig has not changed over time. Our prototypes will be aluminized, the production pipes may only be stainless, but that depends on demand.

Needless to say we appreciate the help we have received with cross referencing the different year models, we want to make sure that we can verify any differences between production years.

I'm in the market for a "Y"

I've been watching the post on your progress on the third gen. and am looking forward to a production fourth gen. pipe. Keep the costs low and the quality high and provide true performance gain thats been verified (dynojet)and I'll buy one or two pipes.

Our price will be competitive

We plan to be competitive in our pricing.

Having read the specs on several types of chassis dyno's it looks as though all will perform the required tests for both hp and torque. I am not sure what type dyno will be used at the Dallas meet. We should have plenty of opportunities to try several set-ups and have plenty of maxima folks watching the results.

We hope to get some feedback as to ease of installation, how good our installation instructions were and the overall impression of our products.
