B-pipe or Y-pipe????

Hey guys!

Need some help here.

I've decided to put the Wharpspeed Y-pipe and now there is a question:

Which is more important to be put first: B-pipe ot the Y-pipe???

Answer will be appreciated!

The Y Pipe. The gains of the B pipe will be better once you have a Y pipe though. But start with the Y and go from there.

If I have the Y, what gains can I expect with the B? What losses? Could I just get rid of the resonator on the stock B and get the same performance increase?

The Y is the most bang for the buck exhaust mod. And it will do it quietly, too, if everything else is stock.

I am with dwapenyi.

Also the BEST sounding NON sc'd maxima's I have heard have stock B-pipes with aftermarket y-pipes and intakes and mufflers.

But my 2 cents

Def go with Y-pipe first. The b-pipe will provide minimal gains unless you go Nitrous or S/C.

Y-PIPE

get the y-pipe, and dont go with weapon R. Go with Stillen or Cattman all the way back. I got a Cattman y-pipe and you can feel the pick up especially when a ***** *** civic shows up.

On the stock B thopugh even with the resonator is removed, there is stilla nasty bend in the pipe. If you go to www.warpspeedperformance.com you can find it there. So that will still cause lack of power.

No need to think more go with the Y-PIPE all the way. You will definitley feel the power gain from it.

Hey, thanx
I see you have clear corners.
Do you know where to get clear tail corners for 95 Max?

So the B pipe replaces it with just a regular pipe and gets rid of that tube part?

Yup. That huge muffler supresses a certain drone that the VQ tends to make at lower rpms. Without it, drones away!
